Lounge Review: No. 1, Edinburgh Airport
This small, yet practical lounge within the tiny, but well-run, Edinburgh Airport is conveniently situated after security, on the right of the main entrance to the departure gates area. It has a fair selection of complimentary alcoholic drinks available (Prosecco/ Champagne at an extra cost) and a small variety of a la carte meals on offer. There is a little "buffet" section too, loaded with simple snacks like fruit salad and muffins.
One thing that I found slightly strange was the layout of the space - the design does not offer guests a lot of privacy, however the tons of natural light and triple volume ceiling makes it feel airy and clean... Unfortunately, there are no restrooms and you have to make use of the public facilities.
That said, it is certainly a nice place to spend those 30 min before catching your flight. Access the lounge via select loyalty cards, or upfront payment/ booking. For more information, see their wesite
